Vehicle Livery Design

Vehicle Graphics Design

Livery and graphics designed to work across a vehicle's curves, panels and moving parts.

Vehicle graphics have to work around door handles, panel gaps, wheel arches and windows, so the design stage needs to account for the vehicle’s actual shape, not just a flat mock-up. We design liveries and graphics for single vehicles and full fleets.

Design work is done directly against the vehicle’s template wherever possible, mapping out where panel lines, handles and other features fall so key branding and text avoid landing across a gap or seam. A logo split awkwardly by a door handle or wheel arch looks unintentional and undermines the professionalism the livery is meant to convey, so this is checked carefully before anything reaches production.

Visibility from multiple angles matters too — a design that looks strong side-on can lose all impact from the front or rear, which is often the only view other road users actually get. Key branding is usually positioned so it reads clearly from at least two angles, with supporting information placed where it doesn’t compete for attention.

For fleet branding, consistency across every vehicle matters as much as the design of any single one, so a template approach is often used to keep colours, logo placement and messaging aligned across the whole fleet, even as vehicles are added or replaced over time. For production and fitting once artwork is ready, see our vehicle graphics and fleet branding page.

Who this is for

Businesses branding a single vehicle or rolling out a consistent livery across a fleet, from vans and cars to larger commercial vehicles.

Why vehicle graphics design is different

A design that looks right on screen can distort once applied over a wheel arch or door seam. Designing directly against the vehicle’s template from the outset avoids awkward gaps or misaligned graphics once fitted.
